Dr. Mullen functions in a Pastoral capacity under the Pastoral Medical Association and has been an educator since 1965. He is a member of the Royal College of Papal Knights, knighted by Pope Benedict the XVI and is a Knight in the Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope. Faculty positions held : El Paso Community College, University of New York State, Empire State College, Corning Community College, University of Phoenix, University of the Incarnate Word, and Jones International University Provost -The Monastic School of Medicine-Sacred Medical Order of the Knights of Hope The Hypnosis & Longevity Center is affiliated with the American Professional Development Center, International Brain Wave Institute for Education and Research, Integrity Hypnosis, and the Healthy Life Centers.  Dr. Mullen is a Adult & Pediatric Consulting Hypnotist.
Dr. Mullen is also Board Certified in Neuro-Linguistic-Programming , Anodyne Medical Imagery and Neuro Sound Stimulation.
He is the past Director of Student Evaluation on the National Board of Professional and Ethical Standards, member of the British Association of Therapeutical Hypnotists, Professional Board of Hypnotherapy and of Sociedad Espanola de Parapsicologia y Sofrologia (S.E.P.S.).
